It has been regared as a personal tip with surfer and yachtsmen for a long time but swimming guests also appreciate its idyllic creek: the Diemelsee.


The reservoir holds 20million cubic metre water. In front of the 220m long and 42m high concrete dam lays the lake with a length of 7,5km. A true paradise for surfer and friends of the water-sport.

There are sufficient camping sites; outdoor and indoor swimming pools are a matter of course. The pretty beach bath and free access to the bank regions offers guests free of charge beach fun.
